Japa has many musical offerings…one of them being the band with Julie Andrews, “Down in Front”

“Down in Front” is a folk/rock Americana band with a hint of bluegrass and a touch of the blues. In 2014 Down in Front released its first album, “Down in Front Does the Donut Shop,” at San Francisco’s Hotel Utah. The band has played in San Francisco hot spots such as “Amnesia”, “The Eagle Tavern” and “El Rio”. The band has also made appearances at hot springs, benefits, donut shops, political rallies, parties and more. A stunt that they are most famous for is their annual, “Donut Day Tours”…going around to donut shops playing pop up concerts from the back of a pickup truck.
